Lyrics
Mad Woman on the Run
At 50, it happened, and couldn't be undone...
Down from the attic, Mad Woman on the run.
The spark lit a flame, the house is burning down...
And still she keeps moving on....
She cleaned out the pantry, and only kept the best
Then she went for the cupboard, and threw away the rest.
The air was ablaze, the sparks were spinning 'round...
And still she keeps moving on...
And so out the front door, with streaming flames behind
She headed for Main Street, and now her voice was fine...
Come on now, and join me, let's set the world on fire...
Let's all keep a'moving on...
She swept through the cities, the countryside as well
And on to the mountaintop, sometimes pursued by hell.
The flames lit the darkness, as she set the world on fire..
Let's all keep a'movin' on....
